Liz Mahon
Director
Liz brings over 20 years of experience in early years education, having transitioned from a Montessori teacher to a leadership role in childcare management. As the Director of Curiosity House, she is responsible for overseeing daily operations, setting the educational vision, and ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained. Liz is committed to fostering a nurturing environment that promotes the holistic development of every child.
Niall Turner
Co-Director
Dr. Niall Turner has been instrumental in the growth of Discoveries alongside Liz and serves as a Co-Director of Curiosity House. As a qualified Occupational Therapist, Niall brings a wealth of experience in supporting the service and fostering the well-being of the staff team. His expertise in occupational therapy enhances the quality of care provided.
Louise Blowers
Service Manager
Louise has been with Discoveries Creche since 2004, excelling for over 20 years in her role as Service Manager. Her extensive training and qualifications in early childhood education equip her to support the team and programme development at Curiosity House. Louise is dedicated to children's growth and development, ensuring that both staff and children thrive in a positive and enriching atmosphere.
Lisa Moran
Assistant Manager
With more than 20 years of experience at Discoveries, Lisa Moran has shown unwavering commitment to early childhood education. As a Senior Educator, she leads classroom activities and provides guidance to both staff and children. Her leadership and dedication inspire trust and confidence from colleagues and families alike. Lisa continually pursues professional development to stay current with best practices and is renowned for her caring and nurturing approach to education.
Agnieszka Gieszczyk
Assistant Manager
Agnieszka has been a key member of the Discoveries team for over 19 years and holds a Master’s degree in Childhood Psychology alongside a Montessori Teaching Diploma. As a Senior Educator, she is instrumental in creating a safe, nurturing, and intellectually stimulating environment for children. Agnieszka's qualifications and experiences enable her to implement effective educational strategies that cater to the diverse needs of all children at Curiosity House.
